DURHAM AND JACKSONVILLE, FLA. -- The economic development director of the foundation overlooking The Research Triangle Park has taken a new position with a company in Florida.
Kevin Johnson, who started at Research Triangle Foundation of N.C. as economic development director in 2005, has joined St. Joe Co. as vice president of economic development.
In his new position, Johnson will be working on economic growth for the West Bay Sector adjacent to a new international airport scheduled to open in May.
Before RTF, Johnson was vice president of Business Development with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council in Arizona where he was instrumental in developing relationships leading to economic development projects and expanding and relocating businesses to the Greater Phoenix area.
Pink Elephant moving online
DURHAM -- Pink Elephant Boutique, located in the Eno Square Shopping Center, is moving online.
The last day to shop at the store will be Saturday, when it will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Everything is on sale at the store, including furniture, fixtures and decorations. The store is located at 5279 N. Roxboro Road.
